Lily Larimar, also known as Beth, is about to go out when her father, Leonard, stops her. He's concerned that she's been going out a lot lately. After forcing her a bit, she admits that she has a new boyfriend. When Leonard meets Beth's boyfriend, Jake, he is shocked to discover that he is much older than her. Leonard is angry at Beth for dating someone so old and confronts Jake. Tensions are high and Jake leaves the house. Beth is shocked and doesn't know what to do.
